...or does it?
I took a slew of pictures of the kids playing on our newly exposed patches of green grass yesterday. I planned on posting them as a counterpoint to last Friday's snow pictures. And then we woke up to this:
As you can see, the kids enjoyed it anyway. And yes, F really is wearing a princess dress over her snowpants.
Here are yesterday's pictures:
Since I know that you all have heard the saying "if you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes," I won't say it. I'll just tell you that it is currently neither sunny nor snowing; it is raining. And Agent 004 begged to jump in puddles after nap.
That is what I call savoring the season.

I LOVE the princess dress over the snow pants!!! My Demi does stuff like that and it always makes me smile. I haven't read your blog in so long (I am sorry about that) I couldn't fit computer time in my days for a bit. I LOVE reading your blog! I have missed you. I promise not to stay away that long again. My family is getting into a good routine (baby has learned to sleep) and now I can have some mommy down time. I promise to be back to visit more often!
I love the dress over the snow pants..P outgrew her snow pants this year...I've been hoping to catch some
on clearance for next year.;-)
These are the moments we look back on fondly in years to come. I'm glad you've found something to savor in winter; it seems to be the hardest season to enjoy sometimes.
Thanks for participating once again!
ROFL I hate it when it snows one day, then it's clear the next. Today it's rainy and muddy (ick). I have to keep thinking that the rain will bring the flowers. Right? :-)
Thanks for visiting my blog the other day. Loved your post here! I found you through MamaBlogga's GWP.
Warm regards,

That really says something when you can savor such unpredictable things, especially weather. I know I get annoyed when in a 24 hour span the temp can change 30 degrees.
I absolutely adore the dress over snow pants. Thank goodness my daughter hasn't thought of this---yet. She is working on how to get flip flops on year round...
I love the princess dress over the snow pants, too!
Umm, if she wore the princess dress under the snow pants, people wouldn't see it. It works for her. We usually get 10% of our snow after March 21. Knowing that and being zenlike about the snow that fell on Friday doesn't automatically follow. I've never claimed to be logical.
